After starting operating a flight between Beirut and Paris in September 2017, Transavia, the low-cost airline of the Air France-KLM group, opens a new route from the Lebanese capital to Amsterdam. With an offer of 65,000 seats, the company supports its desire to become a major player in Lebanese tourism.
After Paris, the Lebanese will discover Amsterdam with Transavia
In the fall of 2017, Transavia launched 3 weekly flights operated on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from Beirut to Paris-Orly. Thanks to its success, the low-cost airline extends this winter its flights till summer season 2019.
For the year 2018, Transavia starts a new route to the capital city of the I: Amsterdam with three flights per week, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, from 1 November 2018 until end of October 2019. With this new route, Transavia confirms that Lebanon is a key market.
Discovering Europe with Paris and Amsterdam
With these two routes, the Lebanese have the opportunity with Transavia to discover two of the most beautiful European capital cities: Paris and Amsterdam. An increasingly strong relation with Lebanon
Nicolas Henin, Deputy General Manager Commercial Department, Transavia France stated that « With this new route between Beirut and Amsterdam, which follows the extension of the route between Beirut and Paris, we confirm our desire to develop our presence in the Lebanese capital. This novelty allows the Lebanese to discover Europe with very affordable ticket prices. »
